Jordan Rojas (a little guy at church that has a bit of a crush on Bekah) offered this little greeting via video to Rebekah on the day of her birthday party, when she wasn't feeling the best. How adorable is this?
We took a few videos of the girls at the US Space and Rocket Center. They had a rock climbing call that both the girls totally conquered. Here's Lydia: Here's Rebekah: And here is Bekah on the Space Shot with John and Evie.
Lydia's 3rd Quarter Choir Concert was tonight. I'll share some photos later, but I wanted to go ahead and share the videos. The kids did a fabulous job. They were practicing for the District Choir Competition that takes place next Tuesday. They sang by grade, and then all three grades together. Here are the sixth grade pieces. In the sixth grade pieces, Lydia is on the front row, a few kids from the right. Bright Morning Stars A Choral Flourish Elijah Rock Here are the songs from the entire choir. On these songs, Lydia is on the second row, on the very end. Ubuntu When You Believe
Rebekah is part of a mentor group called Heritage Helpers. Each weekday, the middle school students walk to the elementary school and have study sessions with the kindergarten class. Rebekah has really enjoyed participating in this this year...and she was interviewed for the County Newsletter!! (http://www.wcs.edu/infocus/2015/02/10/middle-schoolers-mentor-elementary-students/)
Here are a couple of cute videos of William that I finally uploaded to YouTube. The first is from the wedding. The second is from when we visited at Christmas.
William playing the guitar we got him for Christmas. =)
David took Bekah out for her first driving lesson on Christmas day. Her first lesson was in the same parking lot where David got his first lesson! And William got a driving lesson too. He got a new car for Christmas from his Nana (Courtney's mom).
I managed to capture Lydia's entire scene from the play Alice! She's the first oyster in the second set up oysters that comes in. She has her hair up in a bun. And here's the whole group taking a bow.
Here are the videos from Lydia's choir performance. There are several. The first one is Overture. The second is Lift Them Up. The third is Applause Applause. The fourth is My Name in Lights.
The fifth is Somewhere Over the Rainbow. And if you don't watch any of the others, then I would suggest that you at least watch this one, as I think it's the best one.
The sixth song was Seize the Day and my memory card filled up before they could finish the song.
