A Family Hike

We took a family hike today!  Yes, we really did!  It was a positively gorgeous day, so we just went exploring!

We came across the railroad tracks, because, you know, Thompson's STATION was built around the railroad station.  So we took the obligatory train track photos. 

We found this cool graffiti too, which the girls found intriguing. 

How did my girls become GROWN WOMEN!?

I tried to get some cute photos with my introvert. LOL

We found a trail, and it was just the best time hanging out - all four of us. 

 

Our last days in Morocco

Sadly, we have to leave this beautiful place, but it's time to head back to Rabat to catch our flight out of Casablanca. 

So our group headed back, and Mark and Dana invited us over for dinner.  David still wasn't feeling the best, so he tried to keep his distance from the rest of the team, but seemed to be a kid magnet.  LOL

We got a quick pic with the whole crew before it was time to head out.  We've really enjoyed our time in Morocco and can't wait to come back!

 

Fez - Morocco Day Six

 Okay, so Fez was by far the coolest part of Morocco and I have so many photos to share. First of all, the town is super cool and has all of these cool old markets. 

But the coolest part about Fez is that we got to stay in the Riad El Yacout.  This hotel was the one where U2 stayed when they filmed the music video for Magnificent. 

And even better!  David made sure we got BONO's ROOM!  How cool is that?

This place is like a palace!!

The food was crazy good here as well.  And SO MUCH!  Oh my gosh!

The only bad part about it is that David got the flu that Madi had earlier in the week, and he wasn't feeling well while we were there.  I felt so bad for him.  I wish we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy it a little longer.  But I'm so glad David was able to swing that for us for the night.  

Such a unique experience!!

Tangier - Morocco Day Five

 We took a train to Tangier to explore that part of the country.  

From here, you can see across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain behind us.  

Hotel Continental

Our tour guide, Mark, with Mo'Rockin' Tours, had to check in with a riad in the area, and we got to tour some of the rooms.  These are just the coolest buildings - old homes converted to hotels. 

The views were incredible.
