Lydia

By Mom & Dad

L is for Leadership
Lydia is a born leader.  No matter what the situation, Lydia analyzes it, figures out the best course of action, and then leads others through it.  Whether it’s solving a problem, or organizing a game, Lydia is right there to work toward the best outcome.

Y is for Yes

Lydia doesn’t shy away from anything.  She’s ready and willing to take on challenges and to jump into new situations.  She’s there with a helping hand or with a warm hug.  She’s there for hard work or a new experience.  She leaves her “yes” on the table.

D is for Determination

The dictionary defines determination as “the ability to continue trying to do something, although it is difficult.”  Lydia possesses this ability.  What others may mistake as stubbornness, we see as a fierce determination to accomplish her goals and dreams.  She’s not letting anything stand in her way.

I is for Imagination

This child continually amazes us with her creativity.  Whether she’s designing dresses for a ball, being a rock star in her bedroom, or making up a hilarious story for our personal entertainment around the dinner table, her imagination shines for all to see and enjoy.

A is for Adventurous

Lydia is always ready for an adventure.  Do you want to build houses in Guatemala?  Let’s go! Work with kids in Nepal? I’m in!  Chase a monkey in Mexico?  Sounds like fun!  Zip line into an underground lake?  Let me think about it…Whoa! That was fun!! As William Shakespeare said, “Though she is but little, she is fierce!”

My Poem

Lydia

Who is adventurous, loving, leader, happy daughter of Jayna and David Christopher,
Lover of music, sugar and books
Who feels happy, sad, and excited
Who fears heights, the dark, snakes,
Who would like to see Taylor Swift, Ireland, and Bear
Who lives, Spring Hill, 37179, Maple Lane, Maple Circle St.

Lydia didn't get to finish putting all the details in her book.  Here's her page on Bear (above) and her "Little Me" page (below).
 This is her Friends page.
And this is her Family page.

Everyone's signatures make up the last page of the memory books.
