So here's a little peek into Bekah's view of things.

I love you bigger than...
Mommy, I love you bigger than Bekah's bed.
Me:
Well I love you bigger than the whole house.
Lydia:
Well I love you bigger than the whole world.
Me: Well I love you bigger than the universe.
Lydia:
Well I love you bigger than the Israelites!

Dental Clinic Day 2
It wasn't very far from the mission house, so we were able to stay there longer and saw 25 people that day.
And then we tried other things to occupy our time.
Either they would show us one of their games, or we would introduce one of ours (like limbo, here).
There were very few problems with the girls and the language barrier. Lydia just jumped right in and Bekah tried her Spanish, if she could.
And this little boy is my favorite story of the day.
His older brother and sister had seen the dentist and he wanted to go too. He hopped up in the dentist chair and opened his mouth wide. Only there was nothing wrong with his teeth and there was nothing that needed to be treated. The little boy was SO disappointed. So Mark had Julie tell the mom that he was going to "treat" the little boy. Mark rubbed his gums and then put numbing stuff on his lip and tongue. Then he had him bite down on some gauze. Then the little boy joined his brother and sister with this look on his face like he'd had major dental work. He just wanted to fit in! It was SO cute!

Vacation Bible School

The girls had Vacation Bible School last week and the theme was Power Lab.
They did all kinds of cool experiments.
And two "professors" (Jon and Stacy)
did experiments at the beginning of each night's session. Here they are making "snow."
Curtis did a great job during the teaching time. When he was teaching about courage, he told the kids that he was afraid of snakes.
Then Noah Pugh (5 years old) yelled out, "Mr. Curtis! There's a snake behind you!" It was so hilarious.
All of the games were geared around science experiments too.
On
Wednesday night, they filled a plastic cup with water, covered it with a piece of paper, then turned it over. Then the kids had to try to pass it around without the water falling out.

And their crafts each night were fun like that too.
On Wednesday, they did an experiment of putting two little "men" in a water bottle. By squeezing the water bottle, you could get the men to go up and down in the bottle and "rescue" each other.

Then on Thursday, they put a powder mixture in a mold and then soaked it in a cup to make a bouncy ball.
