Even with all the mission trips, we've had a very busy May and June!
Bekah got to lead worship with the youth worship team on May 1.
We got an invitation to the 7th grade awards ceremony at the school because Lydia was being given an award. =)
The youth got new T-shirts.
I finished a blanket for Stephanie's new baby girl...and then had to tear part of it out and RE-finish it after I discovered this goof.
We celebrated David Rojas's birthday at Dave & Busters - a first for the girls.
David and I are both into this Bonza game right now - it's a word puzzle game where you are given a clue and then have to piece word fragments together to make words that apply to the clue. There's a feature where you can create your own game. David made one for Guinness (The Black Stuff) and I made one for genealogy.
I finished these hats and blanket for the fifth Boye girl. Yes, fifth girl, due the day after my birthday!
After the youth had fun with Bubble Ball, the adults had to get in on it too. For the church's Memorial Day weekend cookout, they rented these. A good time was had by all - and lots of sweat was swapped. Gross! It gets hot inside the bubbles!
David got into it too!
Lydia got some hang time with her friends Hope and Savannah.
We visited Christian's lemonade stand. She was raising money for her trip to Guatemala. Super cute.
Lydia got invited to see Beauty and the Beast at TPAC with the Pappases (or as we like to say, Pappi).
Lydia sent me this sweet note which I received while I was at work. Isn't that the sweetest thing? David was leaving for Guatemala on my birthday and Lydia made sure I had a great day!
Fun at youth.
Little India Avaline Boye was born June 9, just a couple days before her due date. Good thing I finished that hat and blanket. She's sporting her new hat on her way home from the hospital.
We took a meal to them when they got home from the hospital and got some India snuggles.
Rachel's friend, Melanie, is a professional photographer and we arrived as she was taking the newborn photos of India. They were using the blankets I made for India (white), and her older sister, EmmaGrace (pink).
